Monticello School Board Unanimously Approved a Change to Start and End Times
Big News for our Monticello Community
At last night’s meeting, the Monticello School Board approved a change to start and end times for all schools in Monticello School District, beginning with the 2024-25 school year. The new times are as follows:

Kindergarten: 8:00 a.m. – 2:10 p.m.

Elementaries: 7:50 a.m. - 2:20 p.m.

Nature Based Education: 8:00 a.m. - 2:10 p.m.

Middle School: 8:15 a.m. – 2:50 p.m.

High School: 8:15 a.m. – 2:55 p.m.
As a district, we believe this change has the power to positively impact our students of all ages and to create a better school community experience for all. As noted in the video above, we fully understand that this change will also bring new challenges to a number of our families. As we move through this school year and toward the 2024-25 year, we are committed to working with the community to solve those challenges together and to make this change as seamless as possible for every family in Monticello School District.
