Dear Distance Learning Families,

Picture Retake Day

Picture retakes will take place at Pinewood Elementary from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. on Monday, October 12th.  This time pictures will take place in the East gym.  Please park your vehicle and enter the building through Door 7,  the entrance with the canopy.  A staff member will be there to greet you and direct you to the correct location.  This is a different location than previous picture day.  See attachment for additional information.

Campus Payments

Each school year, we request $10 per student on the Class Supply list for a Class Fund.  We would like to continue this for Distance Learning too.  At this time, parents can make payments in real-time by using a credit/debit card, checking or savings accounts in Parent Portal.  Please see attachment for directions.  If you have already made payment, this will be displayed in Parent Portal.  We are hoping to have this paid by the end of October.  Campus Payment for Parents

Professional Development for Distance Learning Teachers

Now that we are in the swing of things, we are going to allow time for teachers to have professional development time starting at 2:00 p.m. on Fridays.   This will begin Friday, Oct. 23.   As families, use this time for your own “Fun Friday” after 2:00 p.m. when your child has completed their daily assignments.
