MHS Graduation Photo Gallery

Monticello High School’s 132nd graduating class of 297 students earned diplomas on Friday, May 31st, to join more than 12,328 alumni who have participated in MHS’s traditional commencement ceremony. The students were celebrated in front of a full house at Monticello Memorial Stadium.

The top sixteen students in the 2019 class (Mackenzie Ackerman, Abigail Bartlett, Alyssa Eckstein, Ava Emmerich, Queliste Grose, Olivia Kanzler, Logan Kiviahde, Erika Ley, Eileen Mavencamp, Austin Puppe, Maxwell Romine, Jack Smith, Jaxon Turner, Myranda Turner, Amelia Warmka, and Rebecca Wilts) had the honor of addressing their classmates, staff and parents. Superintendent Eric Olson and MHS Principal Mike Carr also addressed the students and community during the ceremony. 

Junior Honor Guard members, Jamie Forstie, Caitlin Hinz, John Humphreys, Jacob Keller, Jadyn Nelson, Morgan Nystuen, Ian Romine, Tyler Sampson, Megan Springsteen, Catherine Terres, Dina Theros, Hannah Woolston, and Elise Yeager assisted with the ceremony.

Following graduation, the senior class then headed to the Monticello Middle School to celebrate with the Chemical Free All-Night Graduation Party, which is sponsored by junior and senior parents and community businesses.
