Eastview Education Center, along with schools around the district, is celebrating paraprofessionals this week! The week of Jan. 22 through 26 has been proclaimed "Paraprofessional Recognition Week" by Governor Mark Dayton, in honor of the more than 28,000 paraprofessionals that work in Minnesota.
Principal Eric Olson provided an egg bake breakfast with donuts, and fruit for paraprofessionals Thursday morning, in honor of all of the work that they do for students every day. Staff was also encouraged to wear yellow on Thursday, following a suggestion from a Connect 5 student. Olson said this about the color yellow: "Yellow stands for freshness, happiness, positivity, clarity, energy, optimism, enlightenment, remembrance, intellect, honor, loyalty, and joy. I think that describes our feelings for the awesome paraprofessionals here at the EEC!"
Please join us in thanking paraprofessionals for all that they do in our school and in our school district!
