Gavin Nelson - A/V Production Specialist and Creative Media

Gavin Nelson is a committed individual who strives to achieve the best possible outcome for the Monticello School District and it is his goal to exceed expectations. He started his academic journey by attending St. Cloud State University where he gained real world experience while being apart of the Universities Television Station (UTVS) and the Universities Radio Station (KVSC). To this day, Gavin still works with the radio station as the Marketing and Promotion Director. He is expected to finish college in December 2024 after transferring to Mankato State to finish online. His degree will be in Communications and Media B.S.

Gavin has also been working with the Monticello School District as the A/V Content Specialist since late 2019, where he oversees all live streamed events, the annual production of Monticello's Commencement Ceremony, School Board Meetings, game day operations at the High School's Memorial Stadium, as well as general classroom AV needs.

Gavin has lived in Monticello for most of his life. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with family, watching/working sporting events, and going up north.
