About

882 Productions is the official production house of the Monticello School District, headquartered in the District Office. We are dedicated to creating high-quality content and programming that informs, engages, and connects the Monticello School District community.

Serving diverse audiences throughout Monticello and the surrounding area, 882 Productions produces coverage of bi-weekly School Board meetings, district concerts, special events, and athletic contests—ensuring our community stays informed and connected to the work of our schools.

In addition to professional district programming, 882 Productions offers hands-on learning opportunities through student-led production programs at both the middle and high school levels. These programs empower students to develop real-world skills by producing high-quality media content in an authentic, collaborative environment.

Led by Staff and Students

882 Productions is guided by a dedicated team of District staff, including Gavin Nelson (A/V Production Specialist), Devony Moore (Communications Specialist), and Jason Borgstrom (Director of Technology). At the high school level, the program is supported each year by three student tech captains who help lead productions and may earn paid opportunities while producing coverage of athletic contests. The middle school program is similarly student-driven, with two student leaders supporting productions and developing their leadership and technical skills.
