Youth Frontiers is a an organization that aims to make a positive change in students lives through schools. Their mission is to partner with schools to build communities where students thrive socially, emotionally and academically. They offer one-day retreats on timeless values like kindness, courage and respect for students in fourth–12th grades. Youth Frontiers also offers educator retreats to help schools support their educators and create cohesive teams all focused in a common direction: their students.
Bame Foundation has provided funding to the Monticello School District to offset the costs of M.A.G.I.C. programming. The foundation was created in honor of Fred and Merilyn Bame to pass on their philanthropic teachings beyond generations. Whether it was children in need or the forgotten elderly, Fred and Merilyn were always there with a warm embrace, welcoming home, and loving heart. The teaching of “to whom much is given, much is expected” was a deep belief and commitment of Fred and Merilyn. This same philanthropic commitment lives on in the Bame family; achieved through Bame Foundation and the gifts and actions quietly shared with humankind.
Bame’s mission is synergizing people and resources to empower our communities by cultivating servant leadership, growth and grace. Their vision is to inspire servant leadership beyond generations.
