Welcome to the MS School Sponsored Groups Page
Monticello Middle School is a great time to get involved in school sponsored groups. Through involvement in extracurricular activities and groups, students will make positive connections with other students, staff, and the larger school community. Participation, skill & character development, and having fun are the primary goals of the Monticello Middle School activities department. MMS Activities, Clubs & School-Sponsored Groups list is available to review (prices may be adjusted at a later date).
It is our district’s belief that students who participate in extracurricular activities and groups receive a wide range of benefits that help them grow as students and individuals within the team and/or group environment. Our goal is to create opportunities for students to extend their learning through additional school experiences. Lifelong skills such as accountability, teamwork and time management are just a few of the valuable lessons that come from being involved; all of which enhance classroom and academic goals. Middle School students flourish when given an opportunity to develop new friendships among like-minded peers.
The MMS activities department believes in the district's overall goal of “Every Kid Every Day” and looks forward to providing positive extracurricular activities to all MMS students. If you have any questions, stop by the Monticello Middle School office or call 763.272.2104 to speak with Lori Hanson, Activities Director or Lor Pippert, Activities Secretary.
