WELCOME STUDENT TEACHERS, FIELD EXPERIENCE STUDENTS AND INTERNS!
We look forward to your visit to Monticello Public Schools. Prior to starting your student experience in our district, you will need to complete the requirements below:
1. Submit a background check.
- All background checks will be kept confidential.
- The charge for a (student teacher/field experience student/internship) background check is $15.00.
- Background check process must be completed at least ONE week prior to your student experience.
- A Summary of Your Rights Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

There are two options for completing your background check.
- Link to complete the online background check.
- Paper form - Background Authorization Form.
- If you choose not to complete the online background check, please print and complete this paper form and return it to the District Office, Attn: Human Resources. A $15.00 fee can be made payable to Monticello Public Schools.
