Peer Mediation Program:
Peer Mediation is used to assist students to resolve their own issues and promote conflict resolution skills.
This program is funded in part by Wright County Area United Way.
Peer Mediation is a fair and safe way to resolve conflicts so that each person is understood and both participants come to a Win/Win solution. Students who are trying to resolve issues meet with student Peer Mediators who facilitate a discussion of the issues. Peer Mediators do not take sides or counsel but guide their fellow students through a process which allows all sides to be heard, as they work toward resolution.
Students may be referred to Peer Mediation when they have conflicts in class or on the playground.
