Northwest Talent Academy

    NWTA is a collaborative venture from local school districts, designed to provide high-level summer programming for identified high potential learners. NWTA partner districts are: Monticello, St. Michael-Albertville, Annandale, Big Lake, Buffalo-Hanover-Montrose, Maple Lake, Becker, and Elk River Area School District.

    NWTA Mission
    The Northwest Talent Academy is dedicated to meeting the needs of our identified high potential learners by providing unique challenges in a fast-paced and engaging educational environment.

    NWTA Basic Facts
    In 2020, Northwest Talent Academy will run for four weeks, split between June (15-18, 22-25) and July (13-16, 20-23) with each session being four days long. Both full day (8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.) and half day courses (8:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m., 12:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. are available. Courses are open to students in Grades 2 through 8 who have been identified by their school district as a high potential learner.
