Teaching and Learning

Monticello schools are committed to meeting the needs of all learners through teaching and learning. We believe in educating the whole child by providing relevant and challenging curriculum that meets their developmental needs.

Innovation and Leadership

In developing leaders, we will foster the ability to understand our own strengths and weaknesses. We strive to support students, families, employees, community members and citizens through exposure and development of innovation, creativity, and equity.

Collaborative Connections

Fostering collaborative relationships with families, staff, students, and the community. Placing an emphasis on community service, career exploration, leadership opportunities, and apprenticeships for all ages.

Safe and Healthy Culture

Monticello schools are committed to creating a safe and supportive learning environment with a positive culture fostering a mutual purpose. We believe that relationships built on trust will give students and staff a sense of belonging and ownership while having high expectations for themselves and others.
